A very personal approach.
Philip believes that your jewellery should reflect you and your lifestyle. So he spends time with each client, developing rapport and insight into their individuality and preferences, while establishing a price range for the piece.
Clients have discovered how receptive Philip is to their ideas, however odd they may seem. “If the original idea doesn’t work, I’ll find a way to make it work”, he says. “Sometimes we almost design it together.”
Since winning the De Beers Diamonds Today Award in 1991, Philip’s creativity has widened to encompass gemstones of all kinds. “Tanzanite is my current passion. Unique to Africa, it was only discovered in the late ’60’s. The stones can rival the finest sapphire in blue, or come in different hues. But I’ll always love diamonds and the way they bring life to a piece.”
